How much does it cost to use MiMIAT?

The patient app is free. No premium plans. No ads. No hidden fees.

MiMIAT was born from a chronic patient with ulcerative colitis and from one very simple idea: no patient should have to pay to manage their own health data. With MiMIAT, you can build your health wallet, track your clinical evolution and keep your data under your control.

Does MiMIAT diagnose diseases or tell me which treatment to follow?

No. MiMIAT does not diagnose diseases, clinically interpret your data or recommend treatments. It also does not replace the judgement of your medical team.

MiMIAT is designed to preserve the continuity of your health data and help you build a more complete view of your clinical evolution, which you can share with the professionals supporting you. If something changes, worsens or concerns you, always contact your medical team. In an emergency, contact the relevant emergency services.

What can I track in my health wallet?

Today, you can track follow-up variables focused on gastrointestinal health, such as digestive symptoms, meals, digestive impact, stools, weight and treatments.

These data help build a clearer view of your clinical evolution over time. MiMIAT starts with gastrointestinal health, but is designed to expand this into other hard-to-diagnose chronic diseases, including women's health and autoimmune diseases. We are also evolving the platform to incorporate clinical documentation and data from medical devices or wearables, with the goal of bringing more and more health context into one space under your control.

Can I share my wallet with my medical team?

Yes. MiMIAT allows you to share your clinical evolution with the professionals supporting you, even if they work in different centres or systems. This way, everyone can have a unified view of your evolution, without relying on scattered notes, printed PDFs or your memory at every appointment. When a professional requests access to your wallet, you will receive an invitation. You decide whether to accept and for how long. You can also remove access at any time.

Is my data protected?

Yes. MiMIAT works under an approach aligned with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applies security measures such as encryption, access controls and responsible information management. Your data is under your control. You decide how to manage it and who to share it with. For more information, you can consult our privacy policy or write to us at legal@mimiathealth.com.

Which diseases is MiMIAT designed for?

MiMIAT is designed for hard-to-diagnose chronic diseases, where clinical evolution is often built over time and across different professionals, centres or systems.

Today, the app starts with gastrointestinal health, including conditions such as IBS, IBD, GERD, SIBO, dyspepsia, coeliac disease and food intolerances. Our roadmap expands this longitudinal model into women's health, including endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome, and autoimmune diseases, such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.

Which languages is the app available in?

MiMIAT is available in five languages: Spanish, Catalan, English, Swedish and Swahili.

Our goal is to reduce language barriers so that more patients can track and share their clinical evolution, especially in contexts of mobility, migration or fragmented healthcare. We will continue adding new languages as the platform evolves, including French, German, Arabic, Urdu and Hindi.

Which countries is MiMIAT available in?

MiMIAT is available in more than 86 countries, including countries across Europe and Africa, as well as markets such as the United States, Argentina, Colombia and Mexico.

You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play in the regions where it is enabled. If it is not yet available in your country, you can contact our team and we will assess the possibility of enabling access.

Does MiMIAT integrate with hospitals, clinics or insurers?

MiMIAT works first as its own platform for patients and professionals, without requiring complex integrations from day one.

As we move forward, we are working towards selective integrations with public healthcare systems, private care networks, insurers and independent healthcare professionals when the clinical, technical and operational context requires it. The goal is always the same: to preserve the continuity of your data and make your clinical evolution more clearly visible to the teams supporting you.
